About

Training/Education

Smith has been a student of verbal and written expression and communication since he was a wee lad. He fast became fascinated with entertainment and broadcasting history, listening to his short-wave, imitating voices from TV and radio, amassing all manner of recordings and rummaging through his father's comedy collections to find Stan Freberg, Bob & Ray and Nichols & May.

While working at his college radio station, Smith also managed to graduate with a B.A. in English and mass communication. He has formally studied drama, speech and religion. After years in radio and the printing industry, he now performs and markets his voice-overs full-time, while continuing to take workshops whenever possible.
