About

Training/Education

Smith has been a student of vocal and verbal communication and expression since he was a lad, when he first became fascinated by entertainment and broadcasting history. He listened to his short-wave, imitated voices from the TV and radio, amassed all manner of recordings and rummaged through his father's comedy collections to find Stan Freberg, Bob & Ray and Nichols & May.

During his college-radio days, Smith also managed to earn a degree in English and mass communication. He has formally studied drama, speech and religion. After years of working in radio and print, he now performs and markets his voice-overs full-time, while continuing to take workshops whenever he can.
